Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Cookies

Easy, yummy, fluffy cookies. In this recipe, I used Red Fife Multi-Purpose and Whole Grain Red Fife. You certainly can use our Better Bread Flour and Whole Grain Wheat Flour with a similar result.

-1 cup Red Fife Multi-Purpose Flour
-1 cup Whole Grain Red Fife
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1/4 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar

-1/2 cup butter melted
-1/2 cup discard
-1/2 cup maple syrup
-1 tsp vanilla
-1 egg + 1 yolk
-1/2 cup chocolate chips


Step One
Mix dry ingredients.

Step Two
In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.

Step Three
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and combine.
Fold in your chocolate chips.

Step Four
Let rest on the counter for 4 to 6 hours or overnight in the fridge.
Bake at 375 F for 12 mins.
