Perishable and Made-to-Order Products
Some products are perishable or custom-produced. Processing times, cancellations, and return eligibility may vary as described in our Refund Policy.
Digital Products
Digital products are delivered electronically. Your purchase grants a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. Redistribution or resale is prohibited.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or limit orders for reasons including inventory availability, suspected fraud, or fulfillment capacity.
Orders are not accepted until payment is processed and confirmation is issued. Once accepted, cancellations may not be possible if production has begun.
Purchases are for personal or household use only and not for resale or export.
Returns and refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy.
SECTION 4 – PRICES, CURRENCY, AND BILLING
Prices may be displayed in CAD or USD, depending on location. Prices are subject to change without notice, but will not affect accepted orders.
Taxes, shipping, duties, and customs fees are not included unless stated otherwise. Customers are responsible for applicable import duties and fees on US shipments.
You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize charges for your purchases.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND RISK OF LOSS
Processing times are estimates only and may vary, especially for made-to-order or perishable products.
Delivery timelines are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events outside our control.
Once an order is transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
Proof of Delivery
Proof of delivery provided by the shipping carrier, including delivery confirmation, GPS scans, or photographic evidence, constitutes fulfillment of our delivery obligation. Once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the customer.Safe Delivery Location
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information and ensuring a safe and secure delivery location. We are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect addresses, unsecured delivery locations, or theft after confirmed delivery. For higher value orders, we reserve the right to require signature confirmation at delivery.
SECTION 6 – ADDRESS CHANGES
Address changes may be requested before a shipping label is created. Once a label is generated, changes may not be possible.
Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout may incur additional shipping charges.
SECTION 7 – CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be cancelled only if production has not yet started. Once production begins, cancellation may not be possible.
SECTION 8 – RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CHARGEBACKS
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Refund Policy. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or an error occurred on our part.
Pre Dispute Resolution Requirement
You agree to contact us directly and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Failure to do so may result in the dispute being contested using order, delivery, and communication records.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If a chargeback is filed, the dispute process is handled by the payment processor or bank. Refunds cannot be issued while a chargeback is in progress. If delivery is confirmed, we may submit order documentation, tracking details, and proof of delivery to contest fraudulent or invalid claims.
Chargeback Abuse
We reserve the right to restrict or refuse future service to customers who initiate excessive or fraudulent chargebacks or disputes, including cases where delivery has been confirmed.
SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Services, including product names, images, logos, text, and downloadable materials, is owned by Better Basics Milling Company Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without written permission.

We may provide access to third party tools or links. These are provided as is and without warranties. We are not responsible for third party content or services.

Our store is powered by Shopify. All purchases are made directly with Better Basics Milling Company Ltd. Shopify is not responsible for transactions between you and us, and you release Shopify from related claims.
