Organic Red Fife Berries
The heritage grain behind our Red Fife flour.
Same heritage grain. From berry to flour.
Organic Red Fife wheat berries are the base of our All-Purpose Red Fife Flour and Whole Grain Red Fife Flour. Fully intact, certified organic, and traceable to Marc Loiselle on Loiselle Organic Farm in Vonda, Saskatchewan. Nothing removed. Nothing added.
Red Fife is Canada's oldest wheat variety, predating modern hybridized wheat by well over a century. Nutty, earthy, and satisfyingly chewy, the berries are just as versatile as the flour. Cook them whole for grain bowls, salads, and soups, sprout them for sandwiches, or if you mill your own flour at home, this is the grain you need.
No synthetic folic acid. No added iron. The natural folate in the wheat germ is intact exactly where it always was.
